Ever wonder how hex crawls work? Want to know how to run a procedural campaign, where even you are not sure what exactly will happen? Need help getting over that initial trauma after you kill a bunch of henchmen, and probably some player characters, too? Well, this is the podcast for you. Jason, Eric and Jose discuss how they run a hex crawl campaign, and they give examples and reports from their shared-GM, hex-crawl setting, The Forlorn Shores. They also answer questions and make inappropriate comments. It's good fun.

General but Focused

Glad to see the podcast up and running. Once again, great advice and a great "re-introductory" show.
The length is just about perfect for my daily commute.

Looking forward to seeing how the format evolves, game reports, and which guests they bring on.

One thing to note, the hosts could be more prompt in email responses... :P

Great RPG P

It’s about time Hex Talk got its own show. The first 4 episodes, as part of the Hobbs & Friends of the OSR podcast, were amazing for anyone interested in planning in or playing a hex crawl. Jason, Jose, and Eric have great on-air chemistry and I’m excited to see what they have planned for this podcast’s future.
