Brilliant, Meditative and Thought-Provoking
I’ve been listening to this podcast since the first episode was released on SoundCloud. Often raw and always original, the way Stacia reflects on her experiences navigating the world both as a Black woman and single mother are equal parts beautiful and heartbreaking. Her writing is as poignant as it is profound, and the way she speaks is simply enchanting. With HopeChest, you aren’t just listening to another podcast, you’re a part of it—you’re two friends in a coffee shop, contemplating the struggles and complexities of life over a couple of lattes. Whether that’s due to her vulnerability she so bravely shares with you, I don’t know. What I do know is that it’s absolutely brilliant and I’ve never come across anything else like it.
Listen and be drawn in!
The writing on this show brings me to tears in the most unexpected places. It’s different than everything else in my podcast feed, and I love it for that reason. Beautiful, brave, personal, and well crafted.
