It's okay. A good listen if you want Heroes talk

I deleted it at one point because I think I prefer Stormcast but then I resubscribed after deciding I wanted more listening material to stoke my Heroes of the Storm obsession. It's a good listen, they're good folk, it updates more regularly than Stormcast and is better than Nexus.

Community Focused

One thing I appreciate with all of the podcasts that I listen to are those that embrace their strengths and accept their weaknesses. HotScast isn't your one-stop shop for MOBA information and tactics but that's not what they're trying to provide.

Rather the hosts have embraced the fact that there will a large contingent of players dipping their toes into MOBAs with Heroes being their gateway into the scene. As such they've set out to put together a friendly environment for everyone to learn, chat, and have fun.

I look forward to being apart of the community (since I am definitely new to the "scene") and making new friends to game with. Having fun is key and these folks definitely have fun recording (even if they tend to tangent quite a bit ^^)

Need to wrap your head around this is alpha

This is a game with a very small player base you can't treat it like every other blizzard game they aren't have have publicly said they are treating it like an alpha. It's really hard to have a vocal minority in this game with such a small player base and especially with every possible place speaking out against a bad idea.

You need to learn that your opinion isn't fact when it comes to this game blizzard isn't building this game around you, it's is being made for the casual gamer that wants to hop in and play a couple games.
