My name is Pat Dryburgh, and I'm fat. For the past few years, I have weighed upwards of 280-290 lbs. My goal is to lose 100 lbs, but I can't do it alone. I'm joined by my friends Bill and Edward, both of whom have successfully lost weight and maintained their new weight by eating a Paleo diet. Each week, we'll discuss my journey on Paleo, learning new tips but also exploring some of the deeper issues surrounding such a substantial life change.

I like that the guy is currently trying to get fit, so you hear the current struggles and successes, as opposed to listening to people who have never been fat tell you how to lose weight. I like the show, but I'm kind of tired about hearing about the paleo, and Ed is a bit of a know it all, which is annoying, but... I'll keep listening because, for the most part, it's just two friends trying to help their buddy get healthy.
Listening to these guys is encouraging and motivating. These three friends are working together to inspire each other to reach thier own health and fitness goals. They are warm, inviting, funny, and smart. I feel like I would be welcome to join their conversation at any time. I'm listening to this podcast while I'm walking laps at the local High School track. Thanks for keeping me energized!
I really like this podcast - I started eating Paleo because of listening to them and have lost 10# in the past 3 weeks because of it. These three guys bounce ideas off of each other to help out thier friend, which in turn gives me ideas to use in my own daily life. I love listening and appreciate it's 'realness'. It's not some trainer who's never been where we are telling us what to do - it's good to hear from people who have the 'same' mindset and understand what I'm feeling. Keep it up, the good-bad-and the ugly!
