Hosted by husband and wife team Shawn and Jen Thorpe, Hyper Nonsense is a (sorta) weekly look at life and its relative absurdity. Hyper Nonsense first happened in 2006 and ran until 2009. After a five-year break, the show is back and ready to teach these kids a thing or two about how podcasting was done back in the days before phrenetic entrepreneurs and C-list celebrities even dreamed of buying a microphone. We call it Podcasting 1.0. We hope you'll call it at least mildly enjoyable.

Customer Reviews

Clearly the best

As a host of this podcast, I am completely unbiased in my review. Five stars.

Fun, Throwback Show

It’s like traveling back to the birth of podcasting, but only the good parts. This is a fun, easy going podcast that in the days of yore we would have called a couples cast. The short of it is its like hanging out with old friends. Come stop by and stay awhile.

Lonely Desert Islands

If you ever find yourself on a desert island and could only bring a magical device capable of downloading and playing ONE podcast with a whimsical sense of humor and two hosts who happen to be husband and wife in the real lifes from the central west coast, to keep up with the latest goings ons THIS would be the podcast to listen to. You will stay keyed in to the haps and better yet, you'll have a fit of the giggles, or something.
