I read and discuss movie novelizations and how they compare to the movie they novelize.

Niche, but perfect for novelization lovers!

This podcast tackles one of my favorite film subjects, movie novelizations. Back in the 70s through the early 90s one of the cheapest ways to revisit a film was to pick up the movie novelization and there is a wealth of cool deleted scens, alternate takes, and weird spins on our favorite movies in those pages. Paxton's show tackles these, comparing and contrasting, highlighting the differences and just shares his love of film on paper and it's a really fun listen.

Love it!

Really enjoy this show and you can tell the host, Pax, has a passion for all of the novelizations he covers as well as the movies that go with it. Very bingeable as I have been catching up after (gulp) accidentally deleting the show a few months pack. Shame on me. Great job!

Great for film buffs that dont have a ton of free time!

I found this podcast last week and binged it. I love it.
I am a movie buff with a history of working in the film industry, so my love of films runs deep. I love special features, behind the scenes stuff, and this podcast fills that nicely as many times, novelizations are akin to a deleted scenes feature of a film. That said, I don't have a ton of spare time to sit and read these days, so I appreiate someone else taking that time and delivering it in digestible bits. I hope Paxton keeps this going!
