Women get assaulted. Women get attacked. Women get harassed, manipulated, intimidated, but women are survivors. Time and time again, she persists, even against all odds. Hosts Jenna Brister and Wagatwe Wanjuki share their stories, and those of the men and women who fought back, who won, and who live rising above the trauma of their experiences.

Their voices though...

The hosts have got to stop talking like that. STOP WITH THE VALLEY GIRL BS! These are topics about rape and murder and these chicks are laughing and saying “omg totally!” Voices go up at the ends of all their sentences and they both have this annoying habit of saying, “right?” about every third sentence. It sounds juvenile and pedestrian. Content needs more substance. Listeners want to hear compelling stories, not these dumb valley girls talking like Cher from Clueless.

Take it Seriously.

Valley girl talk has got to stop, like it’s totally annoying, right? Unsubscribe bc of the host.
