Perfect for ppl who need to navigate the workplace

Can't talk to my bf about this kind of stuff 😊😊✨

Good balance between realistic and hopeful, but why such a negative title?

This was a great podcast to come across. When I first heard the title, though, I expected a lot of negative whining and ranting from people with overly unrealistic expectations about the work world. I almost didn't listen to it because of that, but out of curiosity I gave it a try.

Once I started listening, it drew me in to hearing the next episode.. and the next...and the next. The advice is practical and the hosts have just the right blend of humor in their narrative without hem hawing around and talking about off topic silliness and inside jokes that don't respect their listeners' time, like some podcasts do.

The information has a sufficient level of detail without being too generic or too filled with technical and corporate/HR jargon. I especially like the fact that the discussion is focused just about right. It's not too whiny/ranting about things that are unrealistic to be complaining about. But it's not too management-centric, where the message emphasizes "The manager is always right. The employee (worker bee) is always wrong." It respects people in both positions and takes an honest look at where both positions are coming from.

Perhaps the title was meant to be catcy and draw listeners in? But because of the level of thought that obviously goes into the podcast, it almost seems to be selling the depth of its content short.

Liz and Larry are wonderful to listen to!

Their easy back and forth plus their depth of experience is great! They don't just robotically agree with each other, but have intelligent conversations with examples of as Liz says, "the good, bad and ugly". Fantastic!
