Maybe you’ve laid awake imagining how it could have been, how it might yet be, but the moment to act was never right. Well, the moment is here and the podcast making it happen is Heavyweight. Join Jonathan Goldstein for road trips, thorny reunions, and difficult conversations as he backpedals his way into the past like a therapist with a time machine. From Gimlet Media.

New favorite

In keeping with Gimlet's highest production quality and substantive content, Heavyweight has the added bonus of disarming, charming, hypnotic Jonathan Goldstein. This podcast is now my favorite from Gimlet (though I listen to and enjoy each one). Insightful, funny and at times touching, it's the best of Goldstein and Gimlet.

Well written, a delight

Jonathan Goldstein is one of the best writers for audio that I know; this show, with a great team behind it, brings all that greatness to the fore. Here's hoping his circle of neurotic friends widens out as the season progresses.

Long time coming.

I've been waiting for this podcast since Goldstein taught me about hi/bye friends on This American Life. I'm so glad it's here. The episode with his father hits all the right notes and then some.
