Relevant, helpful information from a witty lady!
Thanks for this great podcast! I listened to the first episode today during my commute to work (1hr+) and was thoroughly surprised by the passion and candor with which Laila Ali discusses her journey. By the first 5 minutes I was hooked - she explains how she first became interested in boxing (it's NOT what you think!) and shares her journey from being a young and independent woman to how she has crafted her current career in holistic health and nutrition. Her story is intriguing and she tells it in a delightful way. One line that really freaked me out is when she states most of what we eat isn't food - just factory made foodstuff. Yuck! We've all heard that processed food isn't good for you, but when stated like this, it's hard to justify consuming it! I am eager to listen to more of her thoughts and expertise-she's honest, makes the "take home" points accessible, and she's entertaining. I'm inspired by her journey!
Count me In!
Finally a lifestyle and fitness podcast that doesn't feel like "a something I should hear chore". This podcast makes me feel like I'm hanging out with my friend. Laila thank you for being transparent and for being relatable! This is the second podcast I have listened to. I love that I'm getting the "ouch, oh yeah, and Amen" all in one sitting. Thank you for being real, relevant, and raw. This podcast is educational and entertaining. I'm looking forward to more episodes as I am fully committed to becoming a better version of myself choice after choice ❤️ keep em' coming!
