Description

Hi-Phi Nation is philosophy in story-form, integrating narrative journalism with big ideas. We look at stories from everyday life, law, science, popular culture, and strange corners of human experiences that raise thought-provoking questions about things like justice, knowledge, the self, morality, and existence. We then seek answers with the help of academics and philosophers. The show is produced and hosted by Barry Lam of Vassar College.

Finally, a great philosophy podcast

I am a big podcast fan and a philosophy nerd, but I have been waiting for a long time to find a compelling, engaging, fascinating, and entertaining philosophical podcast. After years of searching, I have found it and it is called Hi-Phi Nation. This is highly recommended. Anyone who enjoys 99% Inviisble, Radiolab, This American Life, Invisibilia, etc. will really enjoy this one. Someone should tell Roman Mars about this one, as it should be part of the Radiotopia family.

Great story teller!

I like how the format of story telling entertains while it takes you through a philosophical question. I feel like I even learned a little historically while thinking about the issue. I can't wait for the next one!

Excellent

This American Life for philosophy
