Episode 122 // Ruth Allen (NCL Cyclist/Museum Curator)

Episode 122 // Ruth Allen (NCL Cyclist/Museum Curator)

Ruth Allen is a British cyclist living here stateside in Atlanta, GA. She's entering her second season as a professional cyclist with the Atlanta Rise CC NCL team after rehabbing from being struck by a motorist. Outside of cycling Ruth has dedicated her career to Greek and Roman art, where she holds a Ph.D, and is a curator at the Carlson Museum at Emory University. Let's not forget that she is a Cambridge Alum. We got pretty philosophical when we started dicussing art as a form of communication which makes this a very special episode. Enjoy!

Episode 120 // Jeremy Dunn (Marketing Legend)

Episode 120 // Jeremy Dunn (Marketing Legend)

Jeremy Dunn has been around cycling for roughly two decades. In that time he has had a hand in some pretty cool culture moving creative projects within the cycling industry. Founder of The Athletic (socks) and Embrocation magazine, Jeremy has directed or edited work for SRAM, Rapha, Bicycling Magazine, Rouleur, Specialized and now he wears the Marketing hat for Smith Optics. This was a treat to speak with someone who has inspired me for many years. We also go on quite a tangent on 1970s cinema. Enjoy!

From podcasting, to creative brand collaborations, to the always daunting topic of the Black experience in cycling. Once again, it feels good to be back sharing conversation on WGTHO. Enjoy!

Cool guests!

I enjoy the different perspectives as walks of life from the various guests. I do think it a little funny though when the Host tells guests that he’s old when he’s only in his 30’s. Hahaha! Wait till you’re in your 40’s.

Cool guests and content…audio is horrible

Cool guests and content, entertaining musings, but bro spend some time getting your audio dialed in. 1.5 stars for subpar audio. I don’t know what it is but Chris your voice is low and very difficult to hear and audio has massive lows/bass but very little mid/high tones. When you talk it’s like listening to bass. 2022 is the year you step up your podcast audio game!
