The podcast that tapes the Top 10 and talks about it at school the next day, hosted by Fraser McAlpine and Laura Snapes. Email us! If only all playground debates about music had been so well informed." -- Caroline Crampton, The New Statesman ( "While the charts have become both confused and sidelined in recent years, they’re still an invaluable insight into the machinations of the music industry, something this pod proves in gratifyingly informed style." -- The Guardian Guide (

New fave podcast!

A great listen whether you're in the U.K. or, like me, you're not - the chart is merely a jumping off point for Laura and Fraser's interesting, funny and fair analysis of the best (and worst) pop music has to offer. I now look forward to listening every Monday morning 👌.

One of the best

Whether or not you love charts or just love pop, this is a great pod by great people. Wish there were more like it

My new favorite!

Absolutely loving this podcast. I have always loved pop music but never really understood how to talk about it - music critics I'd read always seemed so stuffy and pretentious. But Laura and Fraser are the opposite - casual and companionable, with fair and reasoned opinions on pop, rather than ruthlessness and dismissiveness. It's totally great, my new favorite podcast. Listen!!! You won't regret it.
