We looked at the overcrowded world of pop culture podcasts and said, "Hey, why not us too?" Together we revisit the films that blew our minds as dumb kids and reflect on them with our mid-thirties brains. Are they as good as we remember, or were we just too young to know they were bad?

Fun discussion of 80s-90s films/culture

I love this podcast - every episode I discover some new insight or trivia from their witty analysis. It's a fun walk down memory lane, chatting about stuff that was such a big deal when I was in junior high (and now all seems so silly). It's satisfying to relive some of the good movies and I enjoy the trash-talk about the stupid ones. More please.

I'm here for the cold french fries.

Chris and Drew do an amazing job breaking down some of the pop culture hits (and misses) for their youths. From the little pieces of trivia, to the production facts along the way you're always going to learn something new. Also being a child of the 90's even though a lot of these movies aren't of my youth I've seen them all (so far). So guys, your audience expands a little farther than you think it does. Keep up the good work, and would you guys ever be open to movie recommendations?

Brain Food for Pop Culture Lovers

Chris and Drew are amazingly well-informed about their topics, and they never fail to teach me something about whatever movie they're dissecting. It's clear that they're passionate about media, and it doesn't hurt that they're so well-spoken and easy to listen to. Some podcasts have me screaming at the speakers because of crappy grammar or pronunciation or vocal tics that just get under my skin, BUT these two are just so professional-sounding. Check them out! I don't think you'll be disappointed, even if you kind of liked the movie Twister.
