Amazing

Erica is an epic story teller. She will pull you in and not let you go! Her southern melodic voice is very pleasing to listen to. I love how passionate she is in every episode. Great work!!!

Great podcast!

The negative reviews are comical. She’s a feminist man hater that sympathized too much with a white male murder? How dare a southern woman give her unapologetic opinion. She’s racial biased because she gives facts about racism in the south and doesn’t deny a “good ole boy” culture. I don’t know if the people leaving some of these reviews are in denial, over sensitive or just hasn’t been to the south before.

Authentic & Passionate

I love this podcast, and here's why. Obviously her voice and accent are soothing and pleasant, which makes a huge difference in a podcast for my sensitive ears, but what I love about Erica is that you can feel her anger towards the perpetrators and her deep compassion for the victims. When it comes to crimes like these, I want someone to say what I'm thinking and she often does. Her coverage of the Lauren Agee case was heartstopping (Ep 25). One of my favorite things about the podcast is also the depth of detail she gives about the historical and cultural setting the crimes took place in. I've learned a ton. She has a great delivery and she's on my playlist of A1 Shows. :)
