Freak Out and Carry On
I hope to find some responsible conversation. I have my doubts on this one, knowing the personalities as I do in other venues, but will give it a try.
Intelligent and thought provoking
If you're wondering whether the rhetoric being tossed around about our current political situation is truly "unprecedented" then this is the podcast for you. Journalist Ron Suskind and historian Heather Cox Richardson are exploring the intersection of the current political situation in the context of 240 years of rough and tumble politics to highlight important themes and point towards past solutions that may become relevant again. It's fascinating, terrifying and reassuring by turns and well worth hearing on a regular basis.
Love, love, love!
I'm so glad I heard about this podcast. In an entertaining, yet educational way, the hosts connect the current state of our politics to similar situations from our nation's history, and I could not be more hooked!
