Welcome to Diet Starts Tomorrow, a podcast hosted by Betches co-founders Aleen Kuperman and Samantha Fishbein, featuring all things wellness, weight loss, mental health and fitness from the no-bullsh*t perspective of real women who understand the struggle. In a world where “wellness” looks perfect on Instagram but feels anything but in real life, this podcast explores the psychological and emotional side of wellbeing as a whole. Listen as they take you on a wellness journey where they discuss their own experiences with weight loss, which fitness routines are actually attainable for the working Betch, staying healthy while still having fun, and how to handle weekend socializing when your friends are forcing you to binge drink and throw caution to the wind.

Customer Reviews

Let me start out by saying I love the betches content! I’m a huge supporter of betchslappped and U UP but this podcast is HORRIBLE.

Aleen and Sami are the perfect example of slaves to the diet industry. Neither of them know anything about nutrition or wellness. Both were clearly raised with a lot fat phobia in their family and have had bad eating habits since childhood. This podcast is extremely triggering for those recovering from an eating disorder. Their restrictive relationship with food and exercise deeply saddens me. Within the first few minutes they talk about how they’re craving sugar but not allowing themselves to have it. Have fun binge eating and regaining all the weight back! How about intuitive eating and body acceptance? You’re basically telling the listeners that you have to be miserable to be skinny and skinny is superior. This is a miserable way to live your life and I can’t believe you’re feeding this information to young, impressionable viewers. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Wow, you should be ashamed. Please think about the consequences and reconsider your message.

Kind of annoying.

I love betches content and wanted to love this podcast but they laugh at themselves way too much, it’s so hard to even keep track of what they’re saying. Genuinely wanted to hear Tracey & Vinny’s answers and they kept interrupting and then getting sidetracked. Laughter is for the audience, not for the hosts, it’s too distracting and way too much!

Can be relatable but the lack of knowledge is hard to listen to

I enjoy most betches content and I understand that this podcast isn’t meant to be educational in terms of health/weight loss. However, it can be really hard to listen to the things Sami and Aleen say when much of it is wrong. Saying two pieces of toast is a “big breakfast” could be dangerous to some listeners. Two pieces of Ezekiel toast is 30g of carbs typically, that is not extravagant the way Sami insinuated. The Keto episode with Vinny was particularly painful. I acknowledge that no one should be naive enough to take health advice from a reality star but still. His continual terming of “healthy” and “unhealthy” to different foods was concerning. There should’ve been some sort of disclaimer so naive girls don’t buy into this as the sole truth. Also, the laughing and overuse of “like” can be distracting but as a millennial I can’t say I’m not the best with avoiding “like” in conversation either. I will continue to listen and am looking forward to hearing from the nutritionist in the next episode. I just think the hosts should really take to heart what many of these reviews are saying about the show and perhaps learn more about the science of fat loss and exercise.
