Bye-bye bathwater, but I’m keeping the baby

For the past five years or so I’ve been on a journey beyond my conservative evangelical upbringing. There was a point I wanted to walk away. I was so disheartened by what I had seen Christianity become I started to question all of it. And then Richard Rohr showed up in my Facebook feed (of all places). I was intrigued. I read and read some more and my soul has since been on a journey to find how I can indeed transcend and include (so I guess my “throw out the bath water” analogy doesn’t quite work. 😜). But I will say I have been shown a way of living and loving the Divine and others and MYSELF that is beautiful. Thank you, Richard. I’m so grateful your path led you here to this place in our spiritual history. You are speaking words of healing. And I can’t wait for the Cosmic Christ conference in about a week!!!! I will be there!❤️✨

Simply Phenomenal

This podcast, diving into challenging questions with Rohr, is simple. It’s challenging. It’s revolutionary. It’s familiar. It challenges assumptions I hold about my Christian faith. It’s simple to understand where, and why, he arrives are particular conclusions. I look forward to reading the book, and learning more, on this journey! Amen.

Into the 2nd Tier

Richard and a few others really seem to have been called to help Christianity and Christians move from the first tier on Spiral Dynamics where the ethos of dualism lives and transcend-and-EXCLUDE is the operational mindset. The second tier is the beginning of nondual Christian living and seeing where everything is embraced and honored as parts of the Whole. Here, transcend-and-INCLUDE operates because second-tier seers know they come from Oneness to love and heal the world that doesn’t know it’s already ontologically connected. Thank you to the CAC for your Yes to do the podcast. It gives us all the energetics of a kind of Christianity that Karl Rahner wanted when he said that if it (Christianity) is to survive, it must become mystical.
