Has been spotty

This podcast has been broken several times, and I have been waiting for the fix, but some episodes won't work on this iPod!

Ads in podcasts? I think not!

I loved this podcast until recently. I was listening to past episodes, and noticed that CBS started placing an ad for a podcast I don't care about at the start of all the archived episodes! This defeats the point of what a podcast is supposed to be!

Most annoying ads

I fully understand that some form of sponsorship is necessary to keep these podcasts flowing, but this podcast has the most annoying ads at the start and end. Sometimes they’re 15 seconds long. Sometimes they’re 30 seconds long. Sometimes (thankfully) there’s no ad at all. This variable length makes it impossible to automate a way to skip the ads.

I like this podcast’s content, so for now I’m manually skipping the ads the best I can.

UPDATE: I’ve listened to these podcasts for years, but the ads in the last few months are so annoying, I finally surrendered and unsubscribed. I would have loved to provide this kind of feedback directly to CBS Radio, but they’re only interested in listeners in their broadcast markets. Bye-bye Larry.
