Important message with geeky people
Aleen is fantastic in bringing amazing, geeky guests to your ears. Hear their stories, their struggles, and how we're all working to make the world a better place. Equality can be a sensitive subject and Aleen handles it very well. Props!
Aleen is Amplifying New Perspectives
Excellent work from Aleen to get more voices heard. If you've noticed an overwhelmingly white, cis-male voice in podcasting and want something more, this is the show for you.
Surprisingly Refreshing
Nothing about the description of this show would have made me subscribe. I'm a heterosexual, white guy, and though I was never against diversity it wasn't something I would have looked for as a podcast.
However a friend said he was in this show and I listened. Then I ended up going back and now I think I've listened to every episode. I love how when Aleen interviews someone you get the feeling of who they are, she is really good at what she does. I've thought about things from this show that I never would have thought about on my own. It's helped me be more conscientious about the feelings of those I work with who may come from different backgrounds.
I recommend this podcast more than almost any other, to a variety of people.
