Great content, but Paul needs to speak louder. He's difficult to hear most of the time.
As uninspired as you'd expect
I was looking for a decent conservative political podcast to counter some of the more liberal political news podcast that I habitually listen to (the young Turks) and I had a friend recommend this one to me. Sadly, this is every bit as conservative as I'd thought it would be and as droll and uninspired as I expected. I decided to listen to this podcast in the hopes that Fox News was a bad snap shot of the average conservative. Yet throughout the episodes I've listened to, it seems that your show is very much out of touch with anyone but conservative listeners.
You have a unique opportunity as a podcast to say what you want to oppose ignorance. You can still be conservative and call out the bad things that conservative politicians do and give credit to more liberal politicians. However, it seems that you often choose to play the pandering game. A more recent example was how you attack the president on his emotional response to the Paris attacks and push the conservative rhetoric that he somehow didn't care that the attacks happened. I think that anyone that can draw the conclusion that the POTUS doesn't care about the slaughter of innocent people in any country, let alone one of our closest allies, doesn't merit my attention or my viewership.
I'd hoped for more. I legitimately would like to hear a conservative point of view that doesn't pander to the pettiness of the base or the most ignorant of the base. I suppose I shall have to continue looking. This podcast was exactly what I expected it to be: a big disappointment.
Well produced but biased and one sided.
I much prefer the npr politics podcast or left, right and center for a balanced view.
