the best wine podcast out there!

For any wine lover out there, this is just the best podcast you can hope to find about wines. For each interview, you can see that Levi studied in depth his subject, and even though you thought you knew a little about it, he offers through his questions new perspectives. Every single podcast really respects and lets the guest speak and reveal his/her vision of the wine world, his/her part and ideas. You will learn a ton every week, and from the very best of the wine universe, in all its dimensions. Very well done!

Informative, humorous, passionate and necessary. Wine should always be this personal. Well done, Levi. And good luck on you next comedy tour of Austria.

Jon Bonne interview should be required listening

I've listened to each of Levi's reviews and they provide a "back door" detailed perspective into a part of the wine industry most of us just take for granted: restaurants and wine bars. This isn't a glitzy series of marketing presentations and wine reviews. It's more about getting into the minds and motivations of a range of very interesting and influential players - many that I'd never heard of.

Levi's interview of Jon Bonne, in particular, cuts right to the bleeding edge of where the industry is going in California. It explores how we got to where we are now, who has defied the critics, and includes an informed discussion of what is really driving wineries: tourism or terroir.

Excellent job!
