Informative, humorous, passionate and necessary. Wine should always be this personal. Well done, Levi. And good luck on you next comedy tour of Austria.

the best wine podcast out there!

For any wine lover out there, this is just the best podcast you can hope to find about wines. For each interview, you can see that Levi studied in depth his subject, and even though you thought you knew a little about it, he offers through his questions new perspectives. Every single podcast really respects and lets the guest speak and reveal his/her vision of the wine world, his/her part and ideas. You will learn a ton every week, and from the very best of the wine universe, in all its dimensions. Very well done!

Please stop interrupting your guests

First off, I greatly appreciate the chance to listen to some great somms, winemakers, buyers, retailers, etc on their experience with wine. Thanks for taking the time and making this available to us winos for free.

My criticism is while I realize you aren't trained in journalism or broadcasting, I have a tough time getting through an episode because you constantly interrupt your guest's responses with your own anecdote, remark or acknowledgement (for example - "sure", "right, right, right", etc.. You have a tendency to ask a question and then provide your take before giving the guest a chance to answer. The David Lillie interview is an example that I had to break up several times. I would like to see you keep the blog for your POV with readers, while the Podcast can serve as a medium for the expert guests to answer your questions.
