Self help for anti-self helpers
Nine out of 10 times I avoid anything to do with self-help. Maybe part of this has to do with the fact that I’m a social worker and the self-care narrative has been very popular in the last couple of years in my profession. but in actuality, I find it to be so nebulous, and so difficult to pin down. Furthermore, what self-help looks like in terms of one’s career is another story. Leah is and undeniably remarkable person, and her genuine enthusiasm, and interesting guests bring self-help to another level— one that benefits me. And that, I can get on board with it. Thank you Leah, for your work, it makes these days of mine improved.
