What a fun podcast to listen to! If you love movies you should be listening to In the Cut. It's the nerdy conversations you have with your friends :)
Witty analysis and excellent company
This podcast has the delightful quality of being engaging on a few levels; it does what it sets out to do and gives the listener forty minutes of movie deconstruction & analysis. Rather than just a review (though there's plenty of that built in), it's an examination of a select few facets or ideas inherent in the movie, not necessarily what you'd expect but always interesting (seriously, what's up with the old guy in Prometheus?).
Jesse and co. keep things conversational, it's easy to get drawn into the discussion of movie minutia.
As a person prone to pausing audiocasts and never returning, I can give this one the finicky podcast listener seal of approval.
Fun and insightful
Great podcast. I eagerly await each episode, and then devour it immediately. Re-watching the movie before listening does make it more fun. The conversations are insightful and funny and I often find myself trying to join in by talking to my radio.
