Pay no attention to the negative reviews - most haven't listened to the podcasts. This is a great podcast by those committed to the scientific principles of observation and going where the evidence leads...Current, scientifically solid, and fascinating. Detractors would love to dismiss I.D. as "Creationism" because they have no credible replies to challenges of I.D. or its continued erosion of the church of Darwinian macro-evolution. Those who ignore the message of I.D. and choose instead to insult the messengers will have about the same success as those who initially labeled rock and roll nothing but a Negro fad.
Where is the science?
interesting discussion but where is the real peer reviewed science applied? Evolution 101 is a much better podcast explaining research in term's us non-scientific minds can handle. This podcast is just discussion based on opinon and beliefs, not reality.
Why Not Do a Show on the Wedge Document?
Interesting how the Discovery Institute hasn't yet done a show about its infamous 'wedge document'. I guess they want to deny their true fundamentalist creationsist motivations and internal dialouge while attempting to coopt the legitimacy of science. The wedge document was written by the Discovery Institute for internal purposes only and was latter leaked on the internet. It openly states the DI's agenda has as its ultimate goal is to "affirm the reality of God". The attack on biological evolution arises from the classic fundamentalist erroneous belief that evolution is itself a religious form of atheism, an equation that is false as many of evolution's greatest defenders are in fact practicing theists. I encourage everyone to google "wedge document" or "wedge strategy" and view the words that the DI's associates are so desperate to hide from the public. Finally, I find it ironic that a group of fundamentalist who view themselves as crusading for God are so two-faced and dishonest about their true motivations and intentions. Ah, another great idea of a DI podcast!
