Really hope it gets better...
47 minutes and they talked about all of four apps. You can't be serious. They could have cut the length by 70% and not lost a shred of information. Leo hits himself in the head with an iPad. Twice. Is this show made for 6-year-olds and I just didn't know it? And I'm sure Sarah is a good person and a good employee at the Twit network, but she absolutely does not belong on the air. She's constantly interrupting, she adds almost nothing whatsoever to the content of the show, and her breathy, sorority girl voice is the most irritating I've heard since Candace Gibson from the How Stuff Works podcasts. At one point she complains about an Australian restaurant using iPads for menus, since she figures they would get all greasy, then they do a demonstration with her iPad...which is covered in greasy fingerprints. Is it really that hard to clean it before the show? Leo has a great voice for radio, they have a great idea for an informative podcast about the iPad, which surely is revolutionizing modern personal computing, but so far it's a giant belly flop out of the gates...
TWIT dose it again!
This is yet another great new show from Leo and his Twit network. I just watched the first episode (on my iPad) and love it already. I highly recommend it for anyone who has an iPad or is thinking of buying one.
Not off to a good start for me.
So far it has been a dud for me. Leo is somewhat good and contributes much to the show but i don't get that feeling with Sarah. Sarah really contributes nothing to the show seems very uninformative. I also find listening to her to be almost painful to my ears. I think this show could do a lot better without her. That or she needs to learn how podcasting is done. I find myself watching the first few minutes and then skipping over most of the rest of it just to get past all the useless app reviews, if that's what you would like to call them. I feel the show right now has no sense of structure either. I know it's still early in this show's life, but i feel that it is off to a shaky start.
