Night Listeners - I'd say spring has sprung. Brand new tunes from the just released Frontal Assault/Ill Omen split. A live recording from Maul of America's performance at the Bad Friday Noise Fest in March. Plus some classics from the late 80s and early 90s.

Night Listeners-It's April lets go! I pulled out some tracks from All Iowa Noise Insurgency cassette compilation. Also in a month we will be celebrating 300 episodes of this damn show.

Our last show for March 2024 and we come in loud, take a nap in the middle, and the rage at the end. I wish I could still live my days that way. New songs from Huxley Madeline, Moss Troll, and Hot Sorry.

I didn't mean to take us back to 2012 for most of the show but here we are. From over ten years ago we have tunes from Trouble Lights, Big Box, and Billy Crystal Meth. First time plays from Running Man and Chrash. Plus new material from Chemical Buffet.

We are trying something different tonight and everything is electronic. I don't know if this was the right move or not but in true IBT fashion we have a pro-produced slick tracks mixed with the best of the bedroom electronic noise projects. One note I want to make is the inclusion of both EHI and Deerslayer. EHI was a Des Moines based noise project by Brian Noring who also started the FDR Tape label. Deerslayer was the basement experimental solo act of Adam Groves of The PeePees, Brazil, and Wheel and the Fence. Both of these are probably the most elusive of everything I will play. Homemade and true to the core value of this style of music.

Busy week here BUT we got some first time plays from Rantional Anthem, landethics, lil' Pricky and Denny Richards. Most of that is all Iowa City based projects minus lil' Pricky (and what a name that is). Dug out the old Bongrider tape that I bought many many moons ago.
