A Dead-On Parody of Public Radio/NPR Where other news sources offer sound bytes and sensationalism, Irrational Public Radio informs, challenges, soothes and/or berates, and does so with a pleasing vocal cadence and unmatched enunciation. When you listen to IPR, integrity washes over you like lava, with the pleasing familiarity of a medium-roast coffee and a sensible muffin.

If you're a fan of NPR, you will absolutely love this! IPR is SO funny! If you're not a fan of NPR you will still laugh right along with it. Deadpan, subtle, some not-so-subtle, on-the-nose parody (and tribute) to public radio. But, not just a parody - It has its own personality. Random and cohesive at the same time. How is that possible?!! Thanks, Joe Smith! I really enjoy this. I look forward to more episodes.
How IPR Is Not A Household Name Is A Mystery!
I've been a huge fan of this podcast for quite a while, and I feel genuine excitement whenever a new episode is released. The format is a spoof on NPR (National Public Radio), and while they pull no punches in their biting satire, the creator's affection for NPR is ever present, and you'll enjoy the show whether you are an NPR fan or not. The writing is superb, the production quality is excellent (authentic) and the acting is the perfect blend of deadpan and the absurd... making each episode an instant classic, as enjoyable on the 20th listen as on the first! If you only subscribe to one podcast, this should be it... and if you enjoy the IPR podcast, I also highly recommend the hilarious IPR album, "Good morning. You Smell Nice"which is available for purchase through iTunes.
Funniest podcast by far...trust me
You never know where IPR will lead you ! An absurdist universe that looks quite normal at first, and often is 2 steps ahead of your brain. Original characters and impeccable production.A roller coaster of comedy that will leave your head spinning and face grinning!
