The best gaming podcast

I listen to a lot of gaming podcasts. The Patch, Podcast Beyond, Podcast Unlocked, Game Scoop, The Escapist Gaming Podcast, and the Games Radar Podcast when it was a thing. I probably listen to more than that, or have in the past, and just can't think of them. They're all fine, but this one is better. Why? Well, the four hosts of Isometric have distinct but well-informed viewpoints, and the topics they cover, though topical, are more than just expressions of how excited they are that video games are a thing. They address deeper issues, but they also keep things light and continually moving. This isn't the hype train and this isn't four loud amateurs screaming at each other about who would win, Cloud or Squall. This is a considered and intelligent discussion of video games and gaming culture that pulls away the juvenile attitude of the established games media and instead makes you feel proud to be a gamer. If a grown-up approach to gaming sounds lame to you, you can always listen to something else. But if you have ever paid a bill on time and like to think games are more than just pretty murder simulators, check out Isometric.

A fresh look at gaming

There are lots of gaming podcasts, but this one is unique in its perspective and content. The hosts are knowledgeable, they sound professional and they are also very funny. Highly recommended!

I look forward to this every week

The hosts are great: very personable and absolutely hilarious all while bringing their own unique perspectives to the table. I also love hearing other women's point of view on gaming! Keep up the great work!!
