    Ahoy hoy, black-clad youth and kinky goblins! Welcome to another spooktacular episode of Jam Sandwich. On today's installment I'm once again joined by my old friend Luca Cimarusti. As was the case the last time he was on the show, we over served ourselves a bit and things got loose. Some questionable opinions are definitely shared.
    The original plan was to listen to a couple of Ozzy albums, but instead we played a random assortment of songs that get us stoked for the season. We set a fire to our loins and our blood boils like lava. This episode is so hot your ears might experience turd degree burns. BOO! See, it's even frightening on the eyes! Somehow we didn't listen to Joy Division so maybe we'll do an entire episode on them in the near future. No promises, licker.
    Luca's current band Luggage has a new album out at the end of the month on Don Giovanni Records. Go grip it. Follow him on twitter at @LucaCimarusti and on instagram at @beer_man_official for more info and also pictures of grade a scumbaggery.

    My wife and I get drunk, horny and talk about Abba kinda sorta.

    Hey lickers! Welcome to another installment of your favorite toilet pig show, Jam Sandwich. On this 'sode, I welcome my lovely wife back to the show to discuss one of our favorite bands, ABBA. We do a decent job talking about the band, but we also get into a tizzy and as is usually the case when CJ comes on and we both get a little nasty. She even got in on the raunch this time. We're breaking her shyness and the freak is coming out. So if you're a diehard ABBA fan that somehow stumbled across this show, be prepared to hear about my b's* okay? If you're a frequent listener then rejoice, because I once again talk about my b's! Tuck in your bib cause this one gets messy.

    Hot dang, it's another installment of Jam Sandwich, babies! We've gotsa real juicy one for youse guys today. In the world of podcasting there's dream guests and then there's Josh Androsky. What can I say, I love to butter this beautiful man up! I've known this sweet prince for several years now and whenever our paths cross both laughs and consensual kisses are shared. He wanted to listen to Brian Eno's 1973 masterpiece Here Come The Warm Jets and I couldn't have been more on board. Surprisingly enough, we manage to stay pretty much on topic for a majority of the episode, aside from getting off track almost immediately. It does end up turning into a discussion of "great morning songs" towards the end. I also talk about my wife's gazungas. Look, I could go on and on but just know that Josh is one of my spiritual brothers and our energies are synced up which makes for great conversation. Dig in!
    For more Josh goodness, follow him on twitter and instagram at @shutupandrosky. If you're in LA and would like to get involved with DSA Los Angeles (of which Josh is a co-chair) follow them on twitter at @DSA_LosAngeles, gather some more information and make change happen.

    Sounds of Skateboarding || JS060

    Greetings curbs dogs, ramp rats and skate betty's alike and welcome to another installment of Jam Sandwich. Much like JS053, this one is more of a radio show than a podcast. No guests, just your horned up stoner host to guide you through a magical journey of curated tunes. This episode is all about skate videos and the music that lies within their sacred walls. Any long time listener won't be surprised to hear this one as I mention skateboarding all the gosh darn time. Growing up I dedicated countless hours to playing with the useless wooden toys and consuming as many VHS tapes as possible. It was on these videos that I first heard The Minutemen, Souls of Mischief, John Coltrane and so many more. It really shaped my warped, sick mind. On JS060, I'm playing nothing but tracks that have appeared in videos of the years, along with assorted clips you might find amongst the ripping.
    If you miss out on my yappin', don't fret as I've got another new episode dropping on it's regularly scheduled time (haha, get it, cause I haven't regularly scheduled sh!t in a hot minute) this Tuesday.

    Mike Conway || JS059

    Ahoy hoy mateys and welcome back aboard the good sub that is Jam Sandwich! On today's episode, we're joined once again by good friend of the show Mike Conway! If you're a long time licker of the sammich, you're already familiar with Mr. Conway and what to expect during his visits. For example, we managed to bring up Skankin' Pickle within the first few minutes. Usually when Mike visits we tend to trail off topic, but today we're speaking about one of our all time favorite bands, The B-52's, so we kinda keep it on point in order to pay proper respects to the greatest group to ever emerge from the south.
    Also, Mike has been drawing again, despite the bad carpal tunnel syndrome that has been plaguing his 2017. In addition to being one of my best friends, he's one of my favorite artists and I suggest you check out the new "break room doodles" series he's been posting lately. Check out his instagram at @michaelfinnconway for da goods.

    Joe McAdam || JS058

    Well shoot, Joe McAdam makes a quick return to the Palace of Sin for another hot steamy Jam Sandwich. This episode was recorded on May 18th, which also happened to be the same day Chris Cornell of Soundgarden passed away. Joe suggested we listen to Badmotorfinger to memorialize the fallen singer, but if I'm being perfectly honest I was never really much of a Soundgarden fan and I didn't wanna have the episode come off as a half assed eulogy. Instead I decided we should start with Gregg Allman's I'm No Angel and we give Gregg some lite ribbing. Then that dude had to go and die before I could release this episode, thusly completely going against my original intentions. Oy vey!
    Furthermore, the formatting is a little different on this one. It was done in a bit of a rush, so we don't focus on a full album or even singular artist. We play a bunch of random songs that we thought of in the moment, so you get a bunch of little insights on a whole slew of artists. It's kind of similar to our old show Revolutions Per Minute, so you get a taste of the past. Put a napkin in your collar and dig in!!
    Joe recently dropped a new video with Butt, so go check out Butt on it's youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1RAfouK5SOTiz1v7U8OpCQ

Be a licker

Even if you're not a fan of the particular music/album of the week, the comedic banter between Nick and his guests is enough to make time fly by with enjoyment. And who knows? You might learn a thing or two about some music you didn't even know that you liked. Highly recommend!

5 stars, BUT...

Care about Chicago comedians or musicians if you are going to listen to it. If you HATE Chicago stuff, this will be chafed thighs level garbage. If you are indifferent about where cool comedians and musicians come from, dude riffs with said Chicago-based artists about their lives and tastes in art/media. I want to give it a FIVE STAR rating. But I'm from Chicago, so dock half a point. And some people hate "local" almost as much as some people hate Chicago (why?) so dock another half a point. Did you read this? Are you a jerk?

Toilet Pigs Unite

This podcast is oddly relaxing. Big fan of people just calming down, listening to tunes.
