Serbia flowers for Teya: Reviewing Pesma za Evroviziju '24

There’s no better way to wrap up national final season than to review one of Europe’s biggest banger of a party, thanks to Serbia. Pesma za Evroviziju has become one of the Eurovision selection comps to watch, for its drama, turbofolk and amazing performances.

This year, TEYA DORA took the PzE crown with Ramonda. Michael and Io explore some of the bangers that didn’t make it… and discuss the drama that developed.

What was the Serbian public thinking?

Which coupling has got both Michael and Io excited?

    How does Michael shock Io?

Marking a line in Denmark's sand: Reviewing Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024

Marking a line in Denmark's sand: Reviewing Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024

Each year, we look to Denmark to provide a song competition that favours the middle of the road. This year, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (or DMGP for short) surprised with some amazing tunes out of every field.

Michael and Io take a quick look into DMGP 2024 to discuss who couldn’t quite get past SABA to take a trip across the Øresund Bridge to Malmö.

Who could’ve made a name for themselves in Danish Eurovision history?

    How helpful was the jury?

What are Denmark’s chances compared to the competition?

Australia’s Eurovision Top 100 2024: Counting down your Top 10

For the fifth time, Australia voted for their top 100 Eurovision songs of all time, thanks to the amazing people at OGAE Australia. And what better way to celebrate a public holiday than to have a Eurovision takeover!

Michael, Io, Bryan, Leith and Fleur line up Australia’s ten most favourite Eurovision songs in this final hour of the Top 100 for 2024. We love Dami and Voyager. Anthony loves Eleni Foureira so much that he wanted the world to know about it.

You love that Electric Fields is representing us in Malmö that we got Michael Ross on the line to say hello and catch us up on what’s been happening to prepare!

And Australia loves our new number one.

Fun and thoughtful reviews

I think I might have a new favorite ESC podcast. As an American fan of the show, it’s hard to always feel connected to the show and the ESC diaspora. The guys do a great job of making it feel like you’re in a group of friends just chatting about this year’s entries.
