Description

JSC Radio -- Which stands for Jay Scott Confidential -- is not your typical "Sports" Podcast. We look at sports as a metaphor for life. The host, Jay Scott Smith, is an award-winning veteran broadcaster, journalist, and writer whose work has previously appeared on MSNBC, ESPN, Newsweek, Vibe Magazine, & NPR. Jay gives you his unique take on the big issues in the sports and entertainment world, plus doesn't hesitate to smash that hot button of race, pop culture, hip-hop, politics, social justice, and more. Plus, he has conversations you can't hear any place else. Sounds by Doc Illingsworth & Ossim Jones. #NSFW. #NSFBlogBoys.

Customer Reviews

Dope and thoughtful podcast

In an social yet rather unsocial world, there's not a lot of people willing to be both transparent about themselves while sharing their thoughts about the world and communities around them. Luckily Jay Scott Smith is that kind of person. Knowledgeable, funny, educated, witty and sarcastic with Detroit street cred are just some of things good about Jay. No nonsense and tells it like he sees it. You might not agree everything he has to say but if you want to be informed while being entertained, you will enjoy Jay Scott's open and honest podcast. ✌🏿️

Captivating

Jay Scott is definitely a personality born for radio and television. I was supposed to be studying but couldn't pull myself away from listening! He does his homework and it shows. Great podcast to listen to!
