Thank you To The Point and Warren Olney

Once upon a time I had given up on ever hearing what I refer to as "real news" again. Having to filter out obvious bias from the anchors on 24 hour news channels had become annoying and boring. I also wanted to know what was happening in the world not just here in the US. "Another blonde girl went missing?" was a conversation I refused to be apart of. Now I listen to To The Point and I receive unbiased news from multiple perspectives. Warren is a gentleman you want in your earbuds. He asks tough questions and gets real answers. This program harkens back to a time when you trusted your newsman and the news he was presenting. Thank you.

Awesome! Not to be missed

Totally worthwhile, fair-minded - everything that news should be and rarely is. Sometime need more than one try to get the whole show -- but it's always worth it. Also KCRW attaches meaningful and useful content information to the files so I can focus on the shows that I'm most interested in. This alone justifies podcasting.

Essential listening

This show is such a breath of fresh air. Being able to hear a civil, in-depth exploration of the important topics of the day - with articulate contributions from a variety of perspectives - is such a pleasure. If you are as disgusted as you should be with the screaming soundbite wars on cable news, where important matters are utterly trivialized, and trivial topics elevated to absurd heights - this show is for you. Even-handedly moderated by the unflappable Warren Olney.
