Customer Reviews

So great.

I know this is the first show but I loved every minute of it. Finally, tales of what marriage is like.. the funny, the good, the bad.. and the "what the?" Kudos to these two. Rock on.

Salacious Sincerity

Imagine a couple, still in love after twenty-one years, sitting around the kitchen table, talking into a microphone about meeting each other and falling in love in Hollywood. Now imagine that this couple also annoys each other. Now imagine that each has trouble getting a word in edgewise. Now imagine that one has a thing for cheerleaders and the other has a thing for black guys. Now stop imagining, because this is all happening.

How can a marriage still work after twenty years? How can it work after kids are introduced, disruptively, into a relationship that was well into its teens before they came along? How can they still be in love? How can they still have sex? How can they still have sex when world peace is threatened all over the world? How can they still have sex when there are motorcylces to ride? These are all questions Jenna and Bodhi Elfman raise in this inaugural podcast. Maybe the questions will be answered later.

My favourite moment: Jenna describing how she knew, when she knew.

My least favourite moment: Bodhi refusing to tell what was probably the joke that started their entire romance.

Reason for subscribing: They sound like friends of mine, and they've got five years on my own love story; I'd like to see what's coming.
