Gather 'Round the Table

This podcast is far and away the best collection of Actual Play sessions I've ever heard. The players are long time friends and very respectful of one another, which minimizes the cross talk. In addition, excellent editing of the sessions serves up an almost radio-play-like quality, complete with theme music and sound effects.

As an added bonus, each session begins with feedback and discussion of other systems, stories, and news involving the greater RPG world.

If you're a fan of good role playing, looking for inspiration for your own gaming group, or just missing the fun of sitting at the table with your friends, you'll enjoy gathering around the digital table with the Knights of the Night.

Amazing AP

Having listened now to (currently) 114 episodes, I can safely say the stories are incredible in both systems, the roleplaying is excellent, and the editing really provides those little touches that help draw you in. (There tends to be background music or appropriate sound effects - jazz in a jazz club, fire crackling in a burning building, etc.) Sound quality is also consistently high, despite occasionally being shaky in some of the very early episodes. I can safely say my only regret is having to wait for the next episode to be released.

It's about time...

...That a World of Darkness Actual Play podcast showed up on Itunes. The audio quality is good for an actual play podcast, most certainly for one just starting out. This game has a certain Call of Cthulhu like feel to it. Human investigators looking into the unexplained supernatural and trying to discover what exactly is going on. Less hack and slash and more story driven than the usual AP podcast on Itunes. A refreshing change of pace, each episode is short and the group moves the story along quite well. All in all I am hooked, and can't wait for the next episode!
