A Braves podcast with heart and soul

Ken Hendrix @kendh and Josh Brown @santoniobrown have put together a wonderful podcast for lifelong Braves fans. It is exactly why some of us are still Braves fans even when the team is 2-13 against teams that aren’t the Padres. Rather than just stick to what’s happening on the field, they’ve set up their show with little snippets that have music playing in the background as they either talk or just tell stories. You get to hear about Josh’s top 5 all time Braves players … Matt Diaz, really, buddy? The story that Ken tells about his dad and their connection through Braves baseball reminds me so much of my mom. She and I talk all the time and half of our conversations revolve around the team’s recent performance or an ump’s inability to do his job or how bad an announcer is.

Many other Braves podcasts mirror each other with reports on prospects or reviews and predictions about the major-league club. This one has that, but the little differences are what has inspired me to write my first iTunes review of a podcast. You should subscribe to this podcast! I’m going to go back and listen to the first 4 episodes and who does that for sports team podcasts?!?

Thanks fellas! You’re doing a great job!

Braves info with a heart!

Wanna hear about Braves baseball, but still get some life sessions? This is the podcast for you. You get hot takes on prospects, major leaguers & life. Seriously, I have already downloaded all the episodes. Just listen.

If you want to hear....

Two redneck fans who don't know a lot about baseball talk about baseball, this is the podcast for you. Not that there is anything wrong with being a redneck, or not knowing a lot about baseball, that's certainly a niche, and they have found it with this podcast. There is some good stuff sprinkled in every now and then, but it's truly not great, or even good.

And for the record, yes, there are absolutely things that matter more than Home Runs and RBI's. If HR and RBI made a great player, Mark Reynolds would be considered a great player.
