I like it

Gijoe rocks and so does this show!

This Podcast Is TERRIBLE

And I should know: I’m one of the hosts. Every week we watch an episode of the old ‘80s GI Joe cartoon and it reminds me of what a dumb, dumb kid I was because I loved the show when I was ten. Looking back now, I’m appalled.

Ray still adores the show and Gina is watching these all for the first time, so you get a pretty balanced take on it all. For the REAL skinny, go listen to the episode we did with GI Joe head writer Buzz Dixon - that dude is amazing and he’s got a lot of stories about cranking out those shows back then. The show may have been for kids, but those folks were no dummies.

We’ve got another 50 episodes or so to get through. Heaven help us. Or me, at least. Heaven help me. Then we can finally get to *my* childhood favorite, Transformers! Which I can only imagine holds up just like I remember it.

The Funniest Podcast Out There

Sure, that title sounds like hyperbole. KiHtP features 3 experienced comedians (Ray, Gina, & Chan) at the top of their game lovingly poking fun at the sheer ridiculousness of G.I. Joe.
The hosts do a great job of roasting the episode at hand while developing ongoing in-jokes and features that pay off for the listener. Their chemistry and craft stand out quickly and you'll be able to tell this show is above par in the podcasting game. The "Know Your Joe" mini-episodes balance out the longer episode reviews if you need a quick shot of comedy. Knowing is Half the Podcast is the highlight of my podcast-listening week!
