Description

News. Pop Culture. Random sh*t. Everything that happened last week. In about an hour every Wednesday. Last Week on Earth is the white paper cone at the center of a cotton candy world. Gleib makes fun of politics on NPR, and pop culture on Chelsea Lately. On this show he does both. Sometimes he also has celebrity guests, who he talks with, mostly in English. (He apologizes to people who speak other languages, but wishes you would just get on board already.) If you've been in a coma for the last 7 days, this podcast will wake you up.

Customer Reviews

Will it get better?

I think starting off with Blake Griffin may be setting the second pod a lot to live up to. I guess being a lifelong Clipper fan, I have a bias. Anyway thank you Smod for making the middle of my workweek tolerable by having Jensen, now Ben, and Jay to look forward to every week.

Entertaining & charming

While listening to this podcast it occurred to me that the host reminded me of a stereotypical popular 'cool' high school kid who has lots of friends and attention from similar-minded girls. I felt charmed by the stylistic way the host talked. His tongue-in-cheek, personable conversational talking point method (too many adverbs) lulled me into a giddy mood that left me feeling relaxed and optimistic -even happy! I hope The host continues to carve out his niche and remains in entertainment as he continues to grow as a presenter. Cheers.

After all the bad reviews I've got to defend my boy. This is probably the best podcast out there. It's well prepared, witty, and politically incorrect. Which is exactly what sane people need. Ben Gleib, keep the last week alive.
