||CleanPhotographing the Redwoods||The redwoods area that we’ll be looking at today is in CA, but just barely. It’s right on the border with Oregon and a great place to use as your base, if you’re not camping, is Crescent City. It’s about 12 miles south of the OR border. There’s plenty of hotel options. The weather is generally mild, if you’re used to OR coast weather then you know what to expect. In short, it’s somewhat mild in the summer topping out at about 80 degrees and generally windy. ||CleanMarch of the Living||A sobering discussion about the March of the living. When reading from their website it’s an annual educational program, bringing individuals from around the world to Poland and Israel to study the history of the Holocaust and to examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hatred. Some of the discussion could be disturbing to some listeners. Images discussed: a. Plac Zgody in Krakow. b. Disinfection room in Majdanek Concentration Camp c. Block 27 Auschwitz with the book on names d. Auschwitz Reflection e. Birkenau guard f. March to Kotel and the celebration of Latrun (looks like this is in Israel?) g. Awesome show from 2 great guys!!
Love the first episode can't wait to listen many more. Keep up the good work!
First episode was very ackward and of very little value. Both guys seem good, but need to get organized and offer some value for the listener. I will try a few more episodes as IP has a good track record on podcasts.
Yay!! Travel Photography!!
So excited for this podcast! Although I have traveled extensively, I didn't pick up my first DSLR until 2008 when living abroad and became more serious about travel photography until 2012 with a trip to Prague. Now that I'm back in the US, I'm really looking forward to local tips, meet-ups, and gear recommendations! Thanks to the IP team for supporting yet anothre genre!
