Customer Reviews

A must listen for any attorney.

I first came across the author from his starting a law firm blog, which I also highly recommend.

These podcasts are perfect for the average attorney. They are under an hour and I usually just listen during my lunch or my commute.

I had never thought of opening my own firm but Chris makes it seem very accessible. He gives down to earth practical advice, and speaks from experience.

What he teaches is what they don't teach in law school: how to run a business. He gives good solid tips on how to market your firm, meet new clients, and set and achieve goals. His advice also is up to date, taking into account social media.

I would recommend this even if you are part of a firm to see what you are missing out in.

Honest and Informative

I have been following Christopher Small's blog for about 4 months now. As someone that is in the process of starting up their own law firm I have found his posts and podcasts incredibly helpful. Chris puts himself out there and discusses a lot of the issues, concerns, and mistakes he has had in starting his own practice.

Chris is very honest in his assessment of the state of the legal practice in todays market and openly discusses some of the friction he has felt from the "establishment" that either do not understand or do not like the way the new generation of lawyers are able to connect with attracting new clients.

I have even reached out to Chris personally and found him courteous and insightful. I know I will talk with him again and hope to one day pay it forward.

If you're looking to start your own practice, don't hesitate to subscribe to his blog and podcasts, I highly recommend it.

Excellent resource

Chris walks the walk. I started following Chris' blog before he created his podcast. In his blog, he gave boatloads of SEO tips. Naturally, I wanted to see if he even did what he preached. After googling his site, I found that Chris' law firm was ranked #1 on Google. From that point on, I started paying closer attention to the information he was sharing.

One of my favorite things about this podcast is the outside resources that Chris exposes subscribers to. He has helped me find multiple books, podcasts, and other marketing materials that I probably would not have discovered. Chris' candid reviews help me save time by helping me determine which products, books, or podcasts will be most valuable for me and my practice.

Lastly, I enjoy receiving Chris' monthly newsletter. In the newsletter, Chris breaks down his monthly income, successes, struggeles, etc.
