Not your typical interview

Lead Singer Syndrome is hands down the most interesting thing I've listened to. Not only did Shane ask questions about things I've always wondered. He asked questions I never would've thought of asking. It felt like two friends talking more than an "interview" or anything else.

The entire show was natural and fun to listen to. It was a very intense hour, with a lot of personal details. But none of it was awkward (like some interviews) There was a great chemistry between Shane and Caleb. I'm confident that will be the case with future guests as well.

I absolutely loved every second of it, and I cannot wait for future episodes. If you want a good listen between two amazing lead vocalists, check this out! Also, check out Silverstein and Beartooth! Two of the best bands around

You Need This Podcast

Shane Told is a great lead vocalist, that much is true. But CAN he launch a successful podcast? The answer to that question is a definite YES. Shane Told, a man of many talents. Who knows, maybe we’ll get a cooking podcast next.

Repetitive

I've listened to probably 15-20 episodes now, and while I enjoy them, there are somethings I don't enjoy. I don't enjoy hearing a Canadian continuously bring up American politics, when he admitted to not knowing how our political system works. And in the conversations he brought it up in, it's not as if the guest would have brought it up himself. He's forcefeeding the listener to hear his beliefs, in no sort of way that promotes better ideas. Shane also treats some guests like they're smaller than Silverstein, which I'm not a fan of. That may have been true 10 years ago, but not now. I've heard the, "we never went back to a van story" at least 10 times now. We get it. Also, it takes 5 minutes just to get through the ads and your monologue. And lastly, for the love of god, PLEASE get a new mic set up. It sounds like you're using a Skullcandy Ink'd headphones mic and then compressing the hell out of your audio. Other than that, keep having interesting guests.
