Customer Reviews

Great for review or immersion

This podcast is great for a review or immersion. It is all in Greek, so it is not for beginners. The conversations are absolutely authentic, so you are not learning student or textbook Greek. Also the transcripts are available from, so you can follow along and look up words you don't know in a dictionary.

Great podcast that will help your conversational Greek - IF you already know Greek. The conversations are only in Greek thus leaves the person trying to learn the language in the dark. I missed many phrases and there is no clarification of what was being said or an explanation in English. Nonetheless, Greek is a beautiful language and any chance to hear it and practice it is welcomed.

It's really preposterous that a person would write a bad review of this excellent podcast merely because it's not at his or her level--you can't walk into a third-year class at a University and claim that the teacher is bad because you somehow missed the first two years! This is fantastic if you are a medium to advanced student of Greek, but if you are looking for "hello, my name is Yannis," then you really need to look elsewhere.
