Customer Reviews

Helpful not only for attorneys but also new business owners

Consider listening to this podcast not only if you are coming out of law school or looking to start your own firm, but also if you are looking to start a new service-oriented business.

A fun and informative podcast

I love Ben and Annie's podcast! Although I am a lawyer, I am not currently thinking of starting my own firm. However, you never know what challenges life will present you with. Ben and Annie do a great job of covering the basics and are always entertaining (who doesn't love hipster jokes!). My only suggestion is that this not be a "short-run" podcast and that Ben and Annie continue to post episodes whenever useful topics present themselves. Keep up the good work!

Very helpful podcast

If you are a lawyer and thinking of starting your own law firm this is a useful podcast. Ben Carter and Annie O'Connell are really honest about their experiences starting out. How often will anyone publicly say he started his own practice because he got fired. I have two comments intended as suggestions for the future. First, I would appreciate more discussion of how to get clients and less on the administrative side of the practice. I really didn't tune in for recommendations about what brand and model of pen to buy. I can figure that out on my own. And second, just because you can swear on a podcast does not mean that it makes the podcast better. Having said this I have really enjoyed the podcast. I heard about the podcast from KatieFloyd.me.
