Muriel/Aggie Murch is a radio producer, writer, organic farmer and registered nurse. Muriel began her radio work in 1989 in the Drama and Literature department at KPFA Pacifica in Berkeley, California. In 1996 she joined a small group that formed KWMR community radio in Point Reyes, California. She continues to write short stories and poetry and, as she can, produce radio programs often focused on literature, agriculture or medicine. During an extended time away in London, Murch wrote the first of her Letters from A. Broad. Though she has since returned to California she still travels frequently with her husband while producing a biweekly Letter From A. Broad.  Letter from A. Broad airs on during 'Good Morning West Marin,' hosted by Susan Deixler. This podcast is only made possible with the help and generosity of Pete Horner. Pete also composed and performed the theme music for Letter from A. Broad and Living with Literature. Letter from A. Broad starts with a picture and a pang of the heart. From there it must beat into life, be penned as a letter and finally produced into a radio broadcast.

Beautiful stories

Muriel Murch's audio essays are a glimpse into far away (and sometimes local) places that are not often seen. I have enjoyed her series.
