I Hate Movies....But I Love This Podcast

What seperates this podcast from nearly every other podcast is the chemistry between Alonso Duralde and Dave White. They are articulate, charming, and entertaining. It is always a pleasure to hear Dave attempt to adhere to the strict standards so that the podcast can have that "CLEAN" label.

If The Lockhorns were funny and liked good movies...

They still wouldn't be nearly as much fun to listen to as this podcast is. Full disclosure: I know these guys and not only do they possess immaculate taste and trenchant wit, they also help your whole house smell springtime fresh. A weekly rundown of the movies I'm too lazy to go see, along with odd phone interruptions and tips on what kind of tea to drink, and how to behave in the world without being a jerk. They tell it like it is, whatever "it" is.

The Best Movie Podcast Running

Full disclosure: I've guest-hosted the show.

The mixture of in-depth film knowledge, pop culture passions, life experience and combustible chemistry between film critics Alonso Duralde and Dave White on display during each episode of Linoleum Knife is unrivaled in the field. The conversations meander in the most fascinating (and often funny) of ways, but it always circles back to the week's new releases. Both guys offer well-reasoned, well-researched and fully invested conversational points about whatever is playing in theaters in a way that makes their experience evident without ever talking down to anybody who may be less informed (in fact, they often pause to offer some background if a topic starts too feel too "inside" or nerdish).

I can't say enough great things about Linoleum Knife. I've often downloaded on my iPhone on a Sunday night because I couldn't wait to get to my computer at the office.

Subscribe to Linoleum Knife and make sure to stay appraised of everything these two are writing and doing around the interwebs, too.
