As humans, we struggle. We hurt. We fail. We crack. We miss the mark in life. But, we are not defined by these cracks. What defines us is the hope, healing, and growth we experience from the cracks in our lives. This podcast exists to share stories of hope, healing, and growth from the cracks of life.

There’s a lot of podcasts out there featuring people talking. There seems to be few featuring people talking and being honest. This podcast meets that objective. Honesty about the good bad and ugly of life is something the world desperately needs to hear because at the end of the day we’re all in this together.
Christian, non-Christian or whatever your belief system, this is good content!
I just listened to Progress over Perfection and you were right on point! I have struggled with this all my life but only realized how debilitating it can be once I started my journey as a photographer. I am in year 3 now and still struggle with self doubt in delivering finished images to a client. I wait for a response like, “I love the pictures” or “you captured us perfectly” before I can fully let go and feel accomplished with that specific session. I have purposely tried to keep my outreach contained to protect myself from disappointment. Over the last 6 months I have started to get my ideal client that I have sought out over the last year. Perfect strangers that are trusting me to provide them with pictures that represent them during pregnancy or that capture precious first moments with their newborn in the hospital. One session at a time I am working thru my “issues” and it’s working out just fine. I put one step in front of the other and after hearing your episode on focusing on progress and being thankful for the wins I will continue to put myself out there. Thank you for your raw honest encouraging talks!
Real Connwction Through Real Stories
Story telling has always been how people have connected and grown together. This connection through stories is something we seem to have lost in recent years and Luke and David are reclaiming it. Connecting to people through their stores and as Luke says "reciving silent permission" to also have and share our brokenness, brings back real connections and pushed us to develop those connections in our daily live. No matter if it's just the two of them or they have a deeply interesting conversation with someone else, the realness of this podcast is such a value in my day.
