Super informative

This podcast has helped support me in my health journey. I decided to try keto to correct my super screwed up hormones, and listening to Shawn has given me new knowledge and kept me encouraged, even through health struggles. My periods are night and day different and I even lost 50lbs, which wasn’t my goal. I love how Shawn focuses on health and not weight.

Just What I Needed

Thank you Shawn for presenting this information in a format I can understand and easily apply. I’d misunderstood some things about metro for years until now. Started at the beginning, after hearing your talk at Ketocon and I listen to and from work during my daily commute.

Life Changing

I could not be more thankful that I’ve discovered The Keto for Women Show Podcast. I started keto a few months ago with the purpose of healing my body and hormones for fertility (my husband and I have been trying for over a year to have a baby, and lost our first pregnancy at 5 weeks this past January). I felt great with keto initially but then a couple months in started to feel exhausted, experienced crazy mood swings, constantly hungry, my hair started falling out even more than it was previously, and my cycles became 40-45 days long. After listening to Shawn’s first few episodes I discovered that the calorie restriction that I thought was supposed to go along with keto was not the right thing to do at all, and was actually doing way more harm than good for my body and hormones. I’ve since been eating WAY more food, veggies, and healthy fat, eating intuitively and not tracking anything, working on consciously reducing my stress, and within a few days of implementing all that I felt like a completely different woman (and I haven’t gained any significant amount of weight back either after almost doubling my food intake). I’m SO thankful for Shawn’s advice and expertise, and that I was able to reverse the negative effects of calorie restriction before I put my body into any prolonged period of freak-out mode. I know I have more healing to do, and I’m so so glad that I’m able to learn so much about my body and nutritional needs through this podcast. I’ve been recommending it to all of the ladies I know who are doing keto! Thank you Shawn for being such a valuable resource for women like me who are working on healing their bodies!!
