Description
You can afford anything, but not everything. We make daily decisions about how to spend money, time, energy, focus and attention – and ultimately, our life. Every decision is a trade-off against another choice. But how deeply do we contemplate these choices? Are we settling for the default mode? Or are we ruthlessly optimizing around a deliberate life? Host Paula Pant interviews a diverse array of entrepreneurs, early retirees, millionaires, investors, artists, adventurers, scientists, psychologists, productivity experts, world travelers and regular people, exploring the tough work of living a truly excellent life. Paula is a smart one
Paula is well spoken and seems like she is smart. I am not sure what value J Bone or J train( or whatever his made up name is) brings to the show. He seems confused about everything and doesn know any specifics. But the show is worth listening to because of Paula.
REAL Money with Human Insight
J and Paula, each financial and entrepreneurial rockstars in their own right, have fabulous rapport. This podcast is the perfect combination of real, authentic storytelling and expert insight and advice. A must for anyone who wants to engage in a positive relationship with their money and start building a life on their own terms.
These people take the BS out of PBS
My first impression, "These people take the BS out of PBS". You both have a great tone color and are TRULY a pleasure to listen to. Like seriously you have voices for radio. My only suggestion for J Money would be to find your cadence, because there is greatness there. Paula, your cadence is pitch perfect. Otherwise, for simpletons like me, you may consider providing a description of your line-item "agenda" at the beginning of each episode (think subheadings, not just big picture) and then verify each point along the way. It could still be colloquial, but structured so that morons like me can anticipate the progression of your conversation. That anticipation/ reward makes it really fun as a listener. But overall, as always, great message. I've been reading every finance blog I can find for the last 3 years and when I saw you were teaming up it was like "batman and superman, together?!" And then I heard your beautiful voices=mind-blown. Congrats on your current and continued success, and thank you for being catalysts that helped to change my financial destiny.
