| 11 | Video0466 - Scapple, AccessMenuBarApp, VideoGIF [HD - Trailer] | Three applications in this week's show: Scapple - Scapple is a great app from the makers of Scrivener - it's like a mind mapping tool but without the constraints of a fixed or hierarchical structure. AccessMenuBarApp allows you to show them all with a single keystroke or mouse gesture. VideoGIF - Create animated GIFs for support or just for fun. VideoGIF allows you to capture or convert any video clip into an animated GIF and share via social networks, email or via websites. Greatest Tutorials
ScreenCastsOnline provides the best Mac tutorials of any podcast. With the video screen captures, learning how to use a specific product or learning how to do a specific task with your Mac makes more sense than trying to listen to someone describe how to do the product or do a task. This is really the best way to go and more Mac podcasters need to take this approach. Visuals always make for learning simple and quick.
A Mac Must-View
If you own a Mac (or would like to), this vidcast is essential viewing. Packed with info and very well produced.
By far THE best Mac-oriented podcasts around ...
These are by far THE best Mac-oriented podcasts around. The scope of the podcasts show an amazing depth and diversity. The topics will pique the interest of users of many levels, from the newbie Windoze switcher to the “I started way back in 1984” old Mac hand. The nearly 100 podcasts (actually more, if you consider the extra-length, members-only HD versions) are uniformly informative; they strike a welcome balance between straight instruction in tutorial style and playful exploration of software features. The production values are impeccable: the podcasts make great use of visuals, provide pleasing, informed narrations, and are sparse with eye-candy gimmickry. Thanks, Don, for demonstrating what quality CAN be achieved with the medium of podcasting!
